Jim Vansleve has been building and designing inground concrete swimming pools in the Brisbane region since 1971, gaining vast experience in every aspect of the industry - in the early years as a “hands on builder“, undertaking and gaining experience in formwork, steel fixing, tiling, interiors, filtration and plumbing. In 1974, Jim & Liz Vansleve established Norfolk Pools in Brisbane, with the concept of offering clients the opportunity to deal with one person who would be the sales consultant, designer and builder all in one. It would enable us to offer a very personalised service, a “one on one” with our clients and a complete understanding of their requirements with plenty of communication, thus avoiding the pit falls of the larger swimming pool companies. Some 30 plus years after and several thousand Brisbane swimming pools later, Norfolk Pools, with Bob Cuss joining the team to assist with sales and design, still offers the same personalised service and quality, preferring to build only what we can personally manage. From the quotation process to contract, to on site meetings, pool setout, excavation, construction, concreting, tiling, interiors, filtration, handover, office admin & maintenance you will be dealing directly with “the builder“, the principals of the business at all stages! You will be able to communicate directly with either Jim or Liz or Bob on site or by phone whenever you want – no need to leave messages, wait days for return calls, and no supervisors. We will provide you with a program, keep you informed of what’s happening and when, commence and finish your swimming pool when requested, assist you with selections, assist you in arranging other associated trades like electricians, fencing and landscaping and most of all we’ll be "up front“.
