Jim Vansleve has been building and designing concrete swimming pools in the Brisbane region since 1971, gaining vast experience in every aspect of the industry - in the early years as a “hands on builder“, undertaking and gaining experience in formwork, steel fixing, tiling, interiors, filtration and plumbing.

In 1974, Jim & Liz Vansleve established Norfolk Pools in Brisbane, with the concept of offering clients the opportunity to deal with one person who would be the sales consultant, designer and builder all in one. It would enable us to offer a very personalised service, a “one on one” with our clients and a complete understanding of their requirements with plenty of communication, thus avoiding the pitfalls of the larger swimming pool companies.

Some 30 plus years after and several thousand Brisbane swimming pools later, Jim & Liz of Norfolk Pools along with daughter Danica, still offer the same personalised service and quality, preferring to build only what we can personally manage.
